Eid-el-Kabir is an occasion that should be seen beyond the traditional slaughtering of ram and merry making but should rather be a demonstration of faith in Allah and total submission to His will as epitomised by Prophet Ibrahim. A period to show love to all Ummar, learn the spirit of sacrifice and self-denial as exemplified by the Prophet Ibrahim and amplified by the holy book.
